About meI have qualifications in Integrative Counselling, Individual Psychology and Adlerian Counselling which follow the principles of Alfred Adler’s psychology and the Person-centred approach originated by Carl Rogers. I also use Mindfulness and other strategies to help reduce stress. I believe that within an empathic and accepting therapeutic relationship you will be able to find courage and creativity to make changes to your present life. I was College Counsellor and Head of Welfare in a sixth form college for 15 years. I counselled at the NHS Drug and Alcohol Service in Cambridge for two years before becoming a counsellor at Centre 33, young person’s counselling and information service. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I follow its Ethical Framework for good practice. I have a particular interest in the following:
