Arranging counselling

Getting started
Once you have decided that you would like counselling you have taken the first step towards resolving your present difficulties.

First meeting
You can talk to me on the telephone for up to 30 minutes or come to see me in my counselling room in Cambridge to find out if I am the right counsellor for you and whether you want to engage in counselling. If you choose to come to see me there is no fee for the initial assessment, which lasts up to 50 minutes.

Meetings
If you decide to go ahead with counselling we will meet regularly, usually weekly for 1 hour. You can find out where I am on the contact me page.

Appointments
Appointments are available daytimes and some evenings and Saturdays. Please telephone or email to check current availability.

Fees
Payable by cash or cheque at either the beginning or end of each session: £40 per hour. I offer concessionary rates for students and those on low incomes (daytime appointments only). Please contact me for details.
